Sky Ferreira, cantante y compositora estadounidense con ascendencia brasileña y portuguesa, firmaba en 2009 con el sello discográfico Parlophone. Tras varias colaboraciones, “As If!”, salia al mercado como primer EP de la cantante lanzado este mismo año durante el mes de marzo por Capitol Records, y con “Sex Rules” como primer sencillo. “One” es otro de los sencillos promocionales lanzados por Sky recientemente, anterior al aviso del lanzamiento del EP.
